Before the final table at Event 5 at the 2007 WSOP, you would have been forgiven for thinking Tom Schneider was an underdog against Annie Duke, Chris Ferguson or John Phan. Now, after winning the event against these top, professional players Tom Schneider is on top!

This was this first win at the WSOP and Schneider's first tournament bracelet. When asked after his win what his plans were for the rest of the World Series Schneider said that he was getting back on the tables and try and win 2 more Events.

Including Tom's latest win he has walked away with $718,206 in prizes since he left his job 5 years ago to turn professional. It looks like after this win Schneider will be a force to be reckoned with in the future.
