PKR within one year has produced the following results:
• nearly 13 million visits
• 50,000 unique log-ins each day
• Over 1 million players are registered
• Over 870 000 real money sit and go’s have been played
• Nearly 16000 multi-table tournaments
• Over $245 million has been placed in bets
• A quarter of a million has been given away in freerolls
The progress of PKR has been very impressive but by no means easy. They set themselves some very aggressive targets and stuck to their guns. PKR’s marketing efforts have consistently made much of the 3D USP, and a large marketing budget has helped to get itself on its feet.
Ed Stevens, managing director at Jack Media, which has been working with PKR from the beginning says: "Getting a start up off the ground in Europe, especially given the circumstances- namely tough competition, crowded market place and confusing legal situation- was always going to be tough."
